Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ascendsecrets.com and the Ascend Ad Dashboard operated by Ascend Group (“Ascend”, “we”, “us”). By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service for a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act for them and to authorize access to the relevant accounts and data.
2. The service
The Ascend Ad Dashboard connects to authorized advertising accounts to provide reporting, analysis, and operational support. Features may change as we improve the service. Separate written agreements may apply to paid agency, consulting, or managed-service work; where they conflict, the signed agreement controls.
3. Google services and account authorization
When you connect a Google account, you authorize Ascend to access only the information and permissions shown on Google's consent screen. Your use of Google products remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. Ascend is independent of Google and is not endorsed by Google.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure, reviewing requested permissions, ensuring that account information is accurate, and promptly revoking access that should no longer be available.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- break any law, advertising-platform rule, or third-party right;
- access an account or data without permission;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls;
- upload malware or use the service for fraud, deception, surveillance, or harmful activity;
- resell or expose the service or its data to unauthorized third parties.
5. Your data and instructions
You retain your rights in information you provide or authorize us to access. You grant Ascend the limited rights needed to host, process, display, and transmit that information solely to provide, secure, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissions associated with your data and instructions. We may rely on instructions submitted through an authorized account.
6. Intellectual property
Ascend and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, and materials we create, except for your data and any rights expressly granted in a separate written agreement. These terms do not give you ownership of the service or permission to use our trademarks without approval.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Advertising platforms and other third-party services may change, restrict, or stop their APIs. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for security, compliance, or maintenance.
8. No performance guarantee
Reports and recommendations are informational and may depend on third-party data. Unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise, we do not guarantee advertising performance, revenue, leads, platform approval, data completeness, or any particular business outcome. You remain responsible for business and advertising decisions.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and revoke connected-account access at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment under a separate agreement, or conduct that could harm users, Ascend, Google, or another third party.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Ascend disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Ascend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, loss of profits or data, or failures caused by third-party platforms.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Ascend's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid Ascend specifically for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or SGD 100 if you paid nothing, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law requires another forum.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
